7 Upcoming Bollywood Movies With Star Cast: Stree 2, Khel Khel Mein, Welcome To The Jungle and More

Multi-starrer films have always been a big crowd-puller. Bollywood has seen its ups and downs with such films that boast star-studded casts. Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal franchise continues to be a box office hit even today, but there are a few unfortunate outcomes too, like Humshakals and Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani. Here is a list of upcoming Bollywood films with a large ensemble cast releasing in the next two years.

7 Bollywood movies with a star-studded cast to look forward to:

1. Street 2

Directed by Amar Kaushik, Stree 2 is the next installment in the horror comedy universe after the success of Stree, Bhediya and Munjya. The much-awaited Bollywood film has increased the anticipation of the moviegoers thanks to its impressive trailer and the songs that took over the internet.

The film stars Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao in the lead roles, while Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurrana, Abhishek Bannerji and Sunita Rajwar play the main roles.

Also, Tammannah Bhatia is making a cameo appearance in the film. Her hot moves in a song titled Aaj Ki Raat have gone viral on various social media platforms. Stree 2 is scheduled to release on August 15, 2024. The cherry on top is Akshay Kumar, who is also expected to make a cameo appearance in the film.

2. Khel Khel Mein

Khiladi Kumar is in no mood to slow down. The actor is releasing his third film of 2024 this Independence Day, officially titled Khel Khel Mei. Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the comedy-drama stars an ensemble cast including Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Vaani Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Ammy Virk, Aditya Seal and Pragya Jaiswal.

Khel Khel Mein is reportedly the Hindi remake of the Italian film Perfect Strangers. It clashes with Shraddha Kapoor’s Stree 2 and John Abraham’s Vedaa at the box office.

3. Singham again

The third installment in the Singham series, officially titled Singham Again, is scheduled to hit theaters in Diwali 2024. The highly anticipated police action drama features an ensemble cast including Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, Jacky Shroff, Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff.

According to reports, the duo Bade Miyan Chote Miyan are playing the cameo roles while Arjun Kapoor and Jacky Shroff are playing the supporting roles. Rohit Shetty’s film, which is set to clash with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, is expected to be a big box office hit this year.

4. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3

After the overwhelming success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Anees Bazme is back with his third installment this Diwali. The horror comedy, starring Kartik Aaryan in the lead role, is being directed on a grand scale with a star-studded ensemble cast. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 features Triptii Dimri opposite Kartik Aaryan while Vidya Balan returns to the franchise. Moreover, Madhuri Dixit is also playing a crucial role in the film.

The makers have also retained Rajpal Yadav and Sanjay Mishra as Chote and Bade Pandit from the previous part of the film. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar, clashes with Singham Again on Diwali 2024.

5. Metro… in the Dino

Next on the list is Anurag Basu’s Metro In Dino. It is the sequel to the popular 2007 film Life In A Metro. The new installment boasts an impressive cast with Aditya Roy Kapur and Sara Ali Khan in the lead roles. It also features Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Pankaj Tripathi, Neena Gupta, Anupam Kher and Konkona Sen Sharma in key roles.

The theatrical release of “Metro… In Dino” was originally planned for September 13, 2024, but is now scheduled for November 29, 2024.

6: Welcome to the jungle

The third installment in the Welcome series is officially titled Welcome To The Jungle. The film is generating a lot of excitement as Akshay Kumar returns to the franchise and features one of the largest ensemble casts in recent years.

Alongside Akshay Kumar, Welcome To The Jungle stars Suniel Shetty, Jacky Shroff, Arshad Warsi, Jacqueline Fernandez, Lara Dutta, Raveena Tandon, Disha Patani, Paresh Rawal, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Shreyas Talpade, Tushar Kapoor, Krushna Abhishek and Kiku Sharda starring , Daler Mehndi, Mika Singh, Rahul Dev, Mukesh Tiwari, Sharib Hashmi, Inaamulhaq, Zakir Hussain and Yashpal Sharma.

Sanjay Dutt was also involved in the film, but dropped out due to scheduling issues. The film was directed by Ahmed Khan. Shooting is reportedly being postponed until next year.

7: Full House 5

Housefull is one of the most successful Indian film series of all time. The makers are soon working on the fifth installment of the gangster comedy. Housefull 5, which is to be shot with a huge budget, is directed by Tarun Mansukhani.

Franchise constants Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh will be back along with an ensemble cast. To add to the excitement, Abhishek Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt and Fardeen Khan have officially joined the cast. Some more exciting names are likely to come on board very soon.

Housefull 5 is scheduled to release in the UK in August 2024. It is the first Hindi cinema franchise to have a fifth installment in history. Bankrolled by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film is scheduled to release on June 6, 2025.
