4-year-old identifies suspect in Seattle police chase

On Sunday, police officers launched a chase through several jurisdictions in the Seattle area.

Shortly before 10 a.m., a man was found sleeping behind the wheel of a stolen Ford F550 pickup truck in the 8400 block of 207th Street East.

Officials say the man fled while they waited for backup. They then say he crashed into two vehicles at the corner of 128th and Canyon Road East in Puyallup. No injuries were reported.

When the chase reached King County, the Washington State Patrol took over. They say the driver crashed again in the Seattle area before fleeing on foot.

Although authorities were unable to locate the man, they found a 4-year-old boy and an adult woman inside. The boy identified the suspect, who investigators say has multiple warrants for his arrest, including possession of a stolen vehicle and obstructing police.
