3 Olympians we’d love to see with Devin Booker in Phoenix

We just couldn’t help ourselves, OK? Yes, there were considerations for Nikola Jokic, and even the two Wagner brothers seemed worthy of mention for different reasons. But Curry is just so entertaining that Suns fans, as much as they hate to admit it, surely enjoyed watching him and Booker work together to destroy their opponents.

The beauty of Curry is that if you watch him every night during his run to the gold, he barely seems to interact with Booker on the court. While Booker was able to get going early and also happily let the likes of James and Durant go first, Curry was, as always, scurrying through his maze of screens, popping up behind his teammates to get those oh-so-open looks.

Can you imagine what even one season of that would look like in Phoenix? Curry is the best shooter of all time and he would make Booker’s life so much easier. Grayson Allen and Royce O’Neale are cool and all – they both play their roles extremely well – but Curry is one of a kind and a true superstar.

Of course, any team would love to have him – he makes everyone on the court better – but like Haliburton, he would be a particularly good fit for the Suns. We have to be content with this one-off experience, because while Booker may be back in Los Angeles in four years, this felt like a one-off for Curry.
