Snyder is currently being held without bail at the Volusia County Branch Jail. He is facing the following charges:

The incident occurred just before 2 a.m. on July 27. Police responded to the 1900 block of Creekwater Boulevard on reports of a shooting. A 13-year-old boy was shot and taken to a local hospital in critical condition.

In a police update two days later, the shooting between the two teenagers was “accidental” and the gun used in the shooting did not belong to either parent.

During the investigation, police concluded that Snyder had sold the weapons to minors.
