1. Birmingham Restaurant Week @ participating locations

  • What: Don’t miss the final weekend of Birmingham Restaurant Week (BRW). Over 50 restaurants, food trucks, bars and cafes will be taking part, so eat to your heart’s content and support locals at the same time.   • What: Anyone 21 years or older can look forward to an exciting night with Harry Potter at the McWane Science Center. There are Harry Potter programs and science demos, a bar and snacks. You also have the opportunity to Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban in the IMAX Dome cinema. PsstDon’t forget to dress up as your favorite character!

5. 10. Just a call away 5K @ Homewood Patriot Park

  • What: Show your support for the crisis center, help raise awareness of mental illness and reduce stigma. This event includes a 5K run, 1-mile fun run and virtual 5K run. There will also be an expo with family-friendly activities such as a bounce house, lawn games and face painting.
